All advice is greatly appreciated, thank you. So which lens would be the best to achieve images similar the ones above. Outdoor space would be unlimited but studio space only 7 or 8m in length. The EF 24-70mm f/2.8L or the EF-S 17–55mm f/2.8 IS USM?

Hi, I'm looking at buying a new canon f2.8 L series lens but am unsure as to what mm i should buy. I want to shoot studio and outdoor fashion photography doing medium shots and head to toe shots, like the images attached. Can you please offer me some advice on which mm lens would be the best.

thanks for that, it was helpful :-) so i obviously need some more lights to light the backdrop, if i got a continuous light kit, what types of lights would u recommend? daylight, trungsten? or something else?
