You can get a cracking pic without expensive gear. The kit lens is a good general all rounder lens but tbh different lenses suit different shots. I'd say look at lenses if you're going to get more gear. Practice, videos and reading IMO are the best ways to learn. Photography mags can be useful...

I have a nikon d5200 but recently bought a lens from eBay, rubbish packaging. The d5200 doesn't have a built in motor, so the AF doesn't work for some lenses. AF is important to me because I have limited dexterity. I need to test the AF but ultimately I need another body anyway. I'm pondering...

Thanks guys. It's been driving me crazy for weeks,lol. I'm not using a TTL cable but wireless flash trigger (when it comes). Can I get a clip thingy that will attach a second flash to another umbrella clamp, or will I need another trigger (I was just going to set a second flash to slave).

I've forgotten what this is called. I know how to use it, I just can't remember it's name. Can anyone help please? *blush*

What is extreme, please? My view is if it's not harming you, it's not your business, on pretty much everything to be fair. You don't have to agree with people's decisions. Sincerely, I doubt any breastfed child needs your pity or anyone else's, for being breastfed.
