The 100-400 mk2 is legendary and for good reason.

I like option 1 as well. My 6D was great in low light and coupled with the 100-400 mk2 image stabilisation should be great. I'm sure you already now but, RF stuff is very pricey. Good luck.

In truth it would be difficult to pan in both directions even with a digital cam.

The op touched a Neve here for me. I have been comparing iphone16 images with ones taken using my Hasselblad. In truth, as I'm not a professional, I might just as well sell the Hasselblad and buy the latest phone.

For what it's worth, I'm left eye dominant which is a pain as all 35mm style cameras are designed for right eyed people. That said, looking at most of my stuff most people would assume I had both eyes closed.

I did not get on with the Hasselblad 205 FCC so swapped it out for something more traditional.
