    Nikon D800......

I'm holding back from making a cup of tea waiting for the response  Th only thing wrong with the D800 is its depreciation, I paid the £2600 or whatever is was to start off with. Then see them selling for less than £1400 second hand, should have bought the D3X ;)

    Nikon D800......

I don't think that this was scaremongering - there is a true and real potential in some circumstances for people to cause some damage as has been evidenced time and time again. Bastic shared a perspective - just like yours. Your hypothesis being that its scaremongering like this that makes...

    Nikon D800......

Wow, a little touchy in the forum today... Bastic, check out this article explaining the make up of the sensor. Cleaning a sensor is a standard operation however you are correct that the filters are sensitive and in some instances can be scratched. There is a good reason why...

    Nikon D800......

I just think its a personal thing. Sometimes, places I shoot need frequent moving of cards so one card per shoot works good for me, personal pref is all ;)

    Nikon D800......

I think you are right, 16gb for me was the biggest - just to remove potential points of failure (although I've never had a Sandisk fail so not sure of my logic is good) :)

    Nikon D800......

No just Nikon... Anything writing to RAW has to approximate as it will never really know the size of the data. Go shooting it, you will soon get a feel of how many :)

    Flickr or Photobucket ?

Super easy, right click - copy image URL and paste :) Costs nothing so worth giving it a go. I've never used photobucket so cannot comment, Flickr (my personal opinion) is dead so I wont renew after this year :)
