My first camera in the late 80s was a Praktica, can't remember the model now. But I loved it, and had a darkroom at home and developed and printed all my own B&W photos. I then moved on to the "modern" Canon EOS 600, then EOS 100. I loved the EOS 100 back in the 90s paired with my 100mm F2 lens...
The reason I'm asking is to does affect my photography a lot and I rarely change the lens. My camera does take a bit of a beating when I'm out in the field. I guess regular sensor cleaning is necessary for me then
Thanks I thought sensor dust would be sharp and well defined these look very blurry which made me wonder if it was on the back element of the lens. I will buy a sensor cleaning kit and try that. Thanks!
I took this photo on my Sony A6400 at f/16 and I see dark spots over the image. I'm wondering where they are coming from. The sensor, the back of the lens of the front of the lens? I have tried to blow dust off with my squeezy duster but the spots still remain. Any ideas? Open image in new tab...
Hi
I want to get this photo printed, can you recommend a place to do it? It's a "non-standard" 2:1 aspect ratio. I went on cewe and I can't print 2:1 pictures.

Ah, I wasn't in a paramotor for that flight. It was my birthday and a friend of mine took me down the heli lanes in his helicopter. There's some video of it here too if you're interested

I literally bought this lens last month and maybe my hood wasn't screwed on, but anyway I've lost it. I can't seem to find anywhere on the internet to get a replacement. I would prefer an "original" hood over a third-party one, for some reason.
Any recommendations?
I've received the printed book now, and I'm very happy with the results! If there might be one criticism, I made the font for the labels slightly too large, but maybe that will help me when flipping through in old age! :D
I have a Sony A6000 and it seems like I need to clean the sensor every few months. I don't change lenses very often at all but the camera is exposed to around a 30mph wind pretty much the whole time I'm shooting because I am flying in a paramotor.
I have been using the 35mm f/1.8 lens where...
99% for me it's aerial photography from my paramotor. My flying hobby rekindled my photography hobby, so I now have two hobbies in one! I also capture occasional family events and my dog but usually use my phone for those.
Thanks, I decided to remove full bleed on photos that are next to each other but go for full bleed when a photo occupies the whole page or double page. Sent off to cewe for printing...
Thanks for the reply, the album to select photos from is here https://markallison.smugmug.com/Other/Paramotoring/2022/2022-Photo-Book/
Here's an example of a few pages I've created so far: https://ibb.co/album/Wg6Dh6
I'm creating an A4-sized photo yearbook of my flying hobby in 2022. It's really a collection of memories, rather than trying to be an artistic piece. However, I would like it to be coherent and will be shared with family and friends, with maybe a few copies printed. There are so many different...
