With regard to the CRB check - Chuckles you are spot on - it wouldn't work! I have a CRB check, but it is only valid for the school I work at! If I want to help out at a different school, then I have to have another one done - I was discussing this with one of the teachers at our school only...

Yesterday, I spent a very pleasant day at the above Museum and it is free entry :D However, I wanted to share the link to the site (I apologise if it has been posted before) it has some really interesting stuff on it - the link is straight to a page with pictures taken by different processes...

I think this thread has been really interesting - I had also wondered the above and as such, as a newbie, didn't realise that enhancing photos had taken place in the dark room to such an extent! Now it has been pointed out to me and I have taken my blond head off I can see why it was/is carried...
