Must admit I was dissapointed they didn't honour it either, it took 2 phone calls to find out it was an error. In fairness they did call me back on both occassions as promised. Calumet are offering the 7D with spare battery (flash promotion they call it) for £1155 so I'll probably get mine there.
I'm in the same situation, other niggle is if there is an update of the 7D due out in the near future. Meanwhile, warehouse express offering it at £1149 with a spare battery.
