    Lost my mojo

My advice would be....don't feel obliged to use your camera and kit just because it's there...you'll do your best work when you feel motivated and inspired...I used to take my best kit with me wherever I went (to the annoyance of my wife) and wanting to capture great images became the focus (pun...

    Nikon 500mm f4

I had the 500mm af-s IF ED for a few years. Pretty unwieldy but once fixed to a decent monopod it was OK, Very sharp, fast focussing on my D3s and excellent for rugby including under floodlights (with a 70-200mm over my shoulder). Only sold it because I wasn't using it enough for paid work.

    Beginner Help with lens purchase

I'm not a bird specialist but I've heard good reports about both the Nikon 200-500mm and the Sigma 150-600mm both within your budget.....

    Is my lens broken?

You're right there is a noticeable difference. At first I thought the Sigma lens might be back or front focussing but to me it all looks pretty soft. You don't say which Nikon kit lens is being used but it definitely looks sharper on both cameras. Don't forget that the Sigma, with such a wide...

    Just bought a Nikon 400mm AF-S f/2.8 G ED VR - Need body advice!

Agree with Gary - if its the lens I think it is then there are some odd things about the advert? Location of the lens? The fact that there was no reserve and a much higher cash/collect offer was rejected? Hope I'm wrong and its all legit. Great buy if it is!!

    Nikkor 200-500?

Thanks Stuart - I use mostly the 70-200 VR and 300 f2.8 VR but occasionally could do with some extra length....debating whether the 200-500 would as quick to AF as the 300mm with 2xTC or not.....

    Nikkor 200-500?

Stuart - out of interest how was the AF for the football - in terms of speed and tracking?

    Peli Case Insides?

Richard - do you definitely need the protection of a Peli? If you are more concerned about carrying the weight on your back then consider one of the roller cases by Calumet. Less expensive than other offerings but top quality and very customisable (internally)...

London Workers in offices highly exposed to the public and passersby, any tips?

If the interior of the office is visible from a public place then you can photograph it (with the exception of a premises that might be covered by the Official Secrets Act or is Crown property). Security can't stop you. Neither can the police. If they tried to they would commit a civil tort...

    Tripod use in London ?

Then it is fortuitous that I have 30 years experience of exactly that in Magistrates Courts, Crown Courts and the High Court.
