A good one of my Dad as he will NOT let anyone photograph him. Even at my wedding I don't have a decent one despite my photographer trying. Stubborn old sod!!!
I had the Tamron 70-200 f2.8 and although it was a lovely sharp lens on things that were still, it was a bit of a pain with the AF motor which is slow and noisy. Rumour has it that Tamron are upgrading this lens in the near future.

Looking on ebay for a lens hood for a 15-85 that I bought on here and there appear to be a lot more fake ones than genuine.
Is there a massive difference between the two? Would I lose IQ by getting one of the fake ones?

This lens got me my first ever 20/20 in competition, I sold it to upgrade to a 70-200 and the best I have had with that is a 19/20. Maybe I need to buy another.....
Seriously though, it is a cracking lens for starting out and if you buy a decent 2nd user, they go on here from £100...
Cheap Flash Bracket. Is that one of those things that screw into the tripod hole at the base of the camera? If it is, is there another hole where I can put my tripod plate?
