There is also the Colchester Camera Repair who do free estimates, they are Canon authorised so I don't know what the price will be like. Give them a call first and you can then post the camera to them. I had my camera repaired by them about 3 weeks ago; it was done in about 8 days. Good service...
I think that camera will have the ability to add your name built-in. If not, I think all EOS cameras can hold your name using EOS Utility. Go to remote shooting > The spanner icon.
I tried this game a while back. Not really a fan of the 3rd person either. Doesn't threaten Team Fortress 2 at all, a game I can't get enough of; although may not be designed to do so?
Yeah, I get the same problem with my old Sigma lenses. I called Sigma about it and they said both my 24-70mm and 100-300mm are too old to be re-chipped. But, they did tell me right now they are offering trade-in for older lenses for a cut price new one. You might want to get in contact with them.
I bought my Canon 1000D brand new with warranty a couple weeks ago through eBay with them, great price £255 body only and it was a very smooth transaction. My experience with them has been great. I would definitely deal with them again.
