I have about 700 so would have to stretch to the 7d anyway. I am now thinking 50D and save a bit for some new glass. I love the 24-105 but would like a lower light lens so may look at the 17-55 2.8

I think I am going towards the 50D and then if it all pans out for the wife then I can upgrade later. I think that the extra for the 7D right now would just be a waste as we are just not that good!!

I got the 24-105 as I wanted the extra reach and if I am doing anything in low light I have a flash!! Also have a 50mm 1.8 and a 100mm 2.8 if I cant use the flash. I need the IS though as I cannot hold anything still!! Also looked at the 17-55 2.8 but dont like the range and the fact it is...

CCleaner gets my vote, you can do a Registry clean as well with it. You may also want to run MSCONFIG (go "start ,run" and type it in). Look at the "Startup" tab and it shows what is starting up with windows. try removing some of the junk in there like the itunes stuff, java updaters etc...

I have replaced my only EFS lens now so if I ever go FF then I am all set. To be honest I dont see myself getting there anytime soon but always best to prepare!! what are you shooting? would the 24-105 L IS F4 be an option? lots of white box ones going at about the price of the 17-55 IS...

Again excelent service and a good price on a used lens. Best thing about that shop is the staff actually like what they do and actually know what they are talking about. BIG :thumbs: from me :D
