Petzel Myos are excellent, I use a three band Myo 3 for trail-running at night. Any Petzel torch will do you fine really, and the build quality make them worth the money imho.

The ones I in speedgraphic were in stock when I checked, but 2x mounts, 2x hot shoe adaptors and 2x umbrellas comes to £93... :eek:

Its the overtightening bit that I was worried about. I'll be using this kit fairly intensively and don't want to be worrying about such an important part snapping or performing under par. Has anyone got any experience with alternitives? Worst case scenario I'll just buy a spare one, but I do...

Just a quicky. Order a set of Skyports online from Robert White at 4:30pm, they arrived at 9:30am the next day packaged inside the strongest box I've ever come across, with security tape over every edge. Excellent, excellent service, and they were the cheapest around as well.

As said before, they are that price for a reason, and that reason is design, build and ergonomics... and yellow. ;)

Sigma 30mm f/1.4! An effective 50mm f/1.4 for your D300.

I've beens using a Marumi 77mm CPL on a nikon 12-24. It's an excellent filter and shows no sign of vigenetting. (It's thinner than my Hoya Pro UV filter!) Takes a cap fine as well.

Not local or especially cheap, but I've been really impressed by 'the darkroom uk.' Fast service to.

I use a Zeiss Ikonta 521 fairly regularly, it's another MF camera, this time fromt the early 40s. All I know is that I have one in good condition, and it takes lovely photos. Enjoy it!
