Canon EF IS Lens mechanically noisy
I've done a bit more searching about and it rather does seem that the 70-300 makes more noise that the 18-75, which at this point is time was my only basis of comparisom. Thanks for the replies.- skippy

Canon EF IS Lens mechanically noisy
HI All. I just took delivery yesterday of a brand new Canon EF 70-300 IS Lens. The thing that strikes me is that it is mechanically noisy when the IS is working, I'm comparing this to the 18-75 IS lens that is virtually silent by comparisom. Am I fretting over nothing, has anyone else...- skippy
