    New Skills For '06

I'd certainly be up for a masterclass, always willing to learn, very good of you to offer Arkady! a) I'd love to vastly improve my landscape shots. I need to learn and put into practice better composition as well as using natural light. b) I'm with fingerz on this one. I love candid shots...

    Murder case

IIRC, she claimed Murdoch flagged them down, and Peter Falconio got out the car and was shot by Murdoch who then held the gun to Joanne Lees and forced her out the car. But yeah, myself and a lot of people I know remain dubious about the whole thing.

    Hoya filters?

Thanks for the replies. It will be going on a 17-85mm IS USM, about £450 worth of lens so I might stump up a little more moolah :thumb:

    Hoya filters?

This maybe a daft queation, but... I've been looking around for a 67mm polarising filter for landscape shots, and Hoya seem to make some of the cheapest. In this instance, is it 'you get what you pay for'? Would I be better off looking at more expensive makes? I don't really want to spend a lot...

Canon ef 28-105 f3.5/4.5 USM metal mount

I presumed that the design of the lens itself would either alow it or not. If you can do it, and the lens wasn't designed to allow you to, then I would suggest the lens is FUBAR?

    Monitors

I tend to find that the brightness of an image displayed on an LCD changes slightly as you pan up and down the screen (such as when scrolling an image from top to bottom) which can sometimes be a pain when image editing. Has anyone else noticed this, or am I going slightly mad? :nut:

Canon ef 28-105 f3.5/4.5 USM metal mount

I'm pretty sure you should be able to switch between manual and auto, otherwise whats the point of the switch? As for manually focusing while set at AF, this is a useful feature of certain canon lenses. I know I can do it on my 17-85mm IS USM, but not on the 50mm macro or 90-300mm USM. You won't...

Selling through your website - advice needed

Known in the industry as 'skiluck' Has anyone had any experience selling prints through ebay? I see a lot of them for sale ranging from pretty cheap to outragously expensive! I guess the only advantage to selling on ebay is the huge customer base.

We're down near the Sheffield police headquarters (like pretty much next door). There's very few IT jobs going around this area I'm afraid :(.
