Please consider recording this to video, the thought of friends, alcohol and a hilite is something id really like to see uploaded to youtube hehe :-) I`m considering one of these monsters myself so would be keen to see how it goes ! Ade

Good question, thats quite a manageable size and not bad price to boot. Think we could organise a TP discount at Dunelm Mills for all these sheets lol :-) ?? Im watching the hilite thread with interest too, be keen to see how people get it with that.

Im agonising over a bg support with muslin (muslin for portability) or the lastolite hilite. The hilite is getting more appealing with the release of the bottle top addons which could be useful. Just curious as to what most people use? Do you bodge it with sheets, curtains and random...

Thanks for the advice Garry, I think i may indeed go for the hilite, the for time being at least. Interesting thoughts on shining a diffused light through a white muslin background, may give that some consideration too :-)

I bought one recently to compliment my f2.8 70-200L and i`m well chuffed with it for the money. Its actually sharper than the L glass :-) The AF is pretty noisey but then im comparing it to the USM/HSM stuff. If you compare it to a real budget sigma lens then its quieter. Hope that makes sense...

I came across that site a couple of days ago and agree, they do seem very reasonable :-) Got it bookmarked ready for purchase once i get me a decent tripod .
