Anybody used the 50-140 on the xt10. Trialled the lens on my xe1 and I thought it balanced ok.
The lens performance is superb so I really want one. Maybe need a grip on an Xt10? Has anyone seen any non Fuji ones yet?
You can hardly accuse Fuji of taking their time. They have built some great cameras but far more importantly some of the best lenses around and all this in a very, very short period of time.
The xpro 2 will come early next year and that makes sense.
I actually want them to slow down...
Thinking of buying the xt1 with the 18-135 to get the free battery grip.
Have credit with wex so need to buy from there- not sure I'd use the lens though. Any ideas what price I might get for an as new 18-135?
Need funds from it to get a 10-24mm!
Must stop buying all this Fuji x gear
I also have the 55-200 and I have to agree with your comment too.
The55-200 is a v good lens and in the grand scheme of things is outstanding value for money.
Still a big fan of the x pro. It has slowed me down and made me think a bit more about the shots I am taking.
Only downside no good for the sports photography that I also like to do.
X pro 2 will be early next year I think. Fuji at the Photo Show gave me good info last year and this year on...
Excellent event - really need two days to visit not just the one I managed. Birmingham and the NEC is a great venue- so much better than places I have to visit in London.
Yes I have to agree. However I really enjoy using the Fuji x stuff and and as I normally use manual flash and continuous lighting I can live with this shortfall.
I think the Fuji xf stuff is as sharp and in some cases renders better pics than some of my full frame Nikon stuff. For me the real weakness with Fuji X is the tracking ability of the cameras. In fact they are v poor but the system is vv young and this will get there soon.
Pity that the Xpro 2...
Forgot to add I borrowed a 50-140 at the Photo Show. Great help/ advice from Fuji and what a lens. Shooting vv slow shutter speeds at 140mm and at 2.8 and still bang on. This was on a xe-1 too!
I have started saving up...
(And yes I did have a 70-200mmvr2 Nikon back in the day to compare it to)
Yes at Fuji refurb £439 and I think the PAYPAL12 code still works to get another 10% off. I have 3 Fuji X cameras and several lenses. The Xe-1 is a great camera , the 18-55 is a great lens and the price is too good to miss (hence no stock at present).
The only problem will be that you will...
