    Sensor Cleaning

Yes wet swabs, Green Clean I think. I'm toying with the idea of just sending it to Fuji and having to wear whatever the cost is to get it sorted. I'm not convinced that my local shop could do any better than I have so far and it'll probably be another £30-£40 for an unsuccessful clean.

It's a spot on the sensor filter. I can see it but can't move it I'm afraid. Thanks for your reply though.

Anyone had any issues with really stubborn dust or dirt on their XT1 sensor? I've got a stubborn spot showing up on images, it doesn't want to shift.

    Sensor Cleaning

I have a Fuji XT1 and found on long exposure shots at f16 I have some dust or dirt showing on the sensor. I have used appropriate swabs and fluid from my local shop to clean it with some success but I have one stubborn spot that won't shift. I can't scrub it but the basic cleaning procedure has...

    Fuji x100/S/T/F Owners Thread

Anyone used the X100S/T for long exposures? I've an X100T and used it to take a couple of long exposure images. I put it on a tripod in the landscape position, there were no funny angles etc. The settings were ISO200, 240sec at f16. The image was fine but I'm finding it always displays the image...

    Best wrist straps?

Used these in Fuji XT-1 and X100T. Indestructible and retro looking IMO. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=251847647517

Hmm. I went on a street photography workshop last week, a fully charged battery was gone in 3hrs and less that 200 shots! I've got two other batteries and I'll give it a fair run but I'm hoping to clear 300+ before I consider that acceptable performance. I'm aware of the power saving steps you...

Anyone got an X100T? I'm curious to know what sort of battery life you get out of it? I realise that the supplied battery will need a few charge cycles to reach capacity but I'm generally finding it terrible?

They offer a 2yr warranty on most electrical items for free. Some items, such as TV's get 5yrs. I always buy from John Lewis if the price is competitive simply for the warranty.

    Fuji x100

Thanks Allan. I'm not sure if the differences are worth the extra money, I'll try it and then see. Many seem to rate it as a much faster camera than the S in terms of AF. If that's the case I might go for it, if I find little difference I'll return it and stick with the S.

    Fuji x100

Anyone upgrade from the X100S to the X100T? Worth the upgrade? I have the XT-1and like the user interface and the classic chrome simulation not to mention the wifi feature as it allows me to travel with the camera and iPad and access my images directly. I can get an X100T with 12 month warranty...

I've got the XT-1 and have had no problems. I can't imagine that there's an inherent problem with Fuji kit given the popularity of it. New Nikon FF DSLR's haven't exactly been without their issues. Oh well, it'll go back for repair so I'll see what happens!
