The flash, both on board and Nissin are flashing in sync. There is no issue with it when on the camera hot shoe. I'm going to try it in manual mode with the power on the Nissin at various strengths. Sorry to cause all this trouble fellas, all I want to do is use the Nissin to create effects...

I'm using the flash off the hot shoe away from the camera and the pop up is still flashing. I'm using man mode and ap setting.

I've recently purchased a Nissin Di622 mk2 and I'm asking advice on how to stop the inbuilt pop up flash from activating at the same time. I'm on TTL setting in camera. Do I use it in slave mode on the speedlight?

I'm thinking of purchasing 52mm macro filters rather than go the expensive route of a dedicated macro lens. Any suggestions?

I've been looking at those and read mixed reviews. So, it would have to be 52mm thread to the lens with a 52 mm thread to take the filter?

Recently purchased a 52mm variable nd filter and now my Nikon Hb 45 lens hood won't allow me to put the filter on whilst its attached to the lens. Is there a lens hood with a greater inner diameter to rectify this problem? Lens being used 18 55.

How safe is the black rapid fastnr 3 for carrying the camera when using the optech utility sling? I've read different reviews good and bad. Anybody had a mishap using one?

Hi folks. Just purchased a 52mm variable nd filter but my lens cap (52mm fitting) is to small. There is no indication on the filter to say what size of lens cap I need to use. Any ideas?

Thanks JohnyT, I've been on optech's website and it says the slr limit is up to 10lb, so I was thinking the compact would be strong enough for my Nik d3100. It doesn't specify the limit of the compact strap.

I was wondering if the optech qd for compacts would be strong enough to carry my Nikon D3100 with standard kit lens 18 55mm, or would it be advised to go for the slr wrist strap instead. I would be using it mainly for street photography.
