    Mirrorless Technique vs DSLR

I imagine YouTubers would also use that method to improve their video. It would be hard to present a video with your face smushed into the viewfinder and the rear screen allows the viewer to see the same as the photographer.

I'm looking for a FREE photo editing application.

Yeah, I started using Affinity Photo in the last few weeks and it is fantastic. Very similar to Photoshop in terms of layout and tools but for less than £25.

Week 2 - People 2 - People by Silent Sea, on Flickr 50mm, f 7.1, 1/125, ISO 800 Not really done much street photography so went out to try it. Was expecting to go for a black and white shot but then found this guy with his blue coat against the red brickwork and knew I was going for colour...

    Nostromo TP52 (2018) Week 51/2 : Party/Showcase

Also prefer the first one. Great light, really soft and fairytale like and slightly ofset by the cold metal of the gate.

    SilentSea's 52 - 2018

Indeed, there's quite a few gates in there! Think I got quite lucky with the light, it was around 1430 but perfect conditions. Yeah I did try try a few different crops but settled for this version. Had some taken from slightly further out so the tree trunk was visible to the right, however...

Really nice image, you can always say a libary is the gateway to knowledge! One of the first things that struck me is the amount of detail in the road, it looks beautifully weathered and stained.

    My 52, attempt No. 3

Great week 0 post. The cliffs seem to stretch on forever. I imagine a long exposure would work wonderfully here in future to and make the right side of the image even more minimalist. Great start and by the looks of it a great area for photography.

Sirch 52 in 2018, third time lucky, week 52, Showcase

Really enjoy the first gate image you posted. I agree with some others who mentioned perhaps cropping out the trees - I'd at least crop out the bit of the sky in the top left, it's slightly distracting. I'd perhaps lower the exposure just a little as well, but I do prefer a slightly darker...

    Hadrons TP52 for 2018- Week 9 Abundance

Fan of the gate shot. The path works as a nice lead in line to the gate and the sky has a nice gradient from very light to deeper blues and the odd hint odd cloud through the tree branches. I saw some others had suggested cropping but not sure if it would work it. The image at the moment splits...

Week 1 - Gate 1 - Gate by Silent Sea, on Flickr Canon EOS 50D, EFS 24mm, 1/100, f9, ISO 100 So week 1 was upon us. I took the weatherman’s advice and ventured out on Sunday, surprisingly he was spot on so managed to find some rare January blue sky! Nothing too exciting this week just literal...
