Hi Dawn!
Thanks for the comments on the week 11 photos. As to the re-shoot I know it is a bit soft but it was the best I could achieve. It was a challenge even to get that shot because I was in very shady part of the park and it was getting dark. Anyway as you said the softness maybe is not...
A bit catching up to do....
Here are my entries for week 11. I decided to re-shoot the Delicate theme because my entry was not very good and I am having a go at Knowledge too.
This shot was taken yesterday while walking in the local park. I saw this feather stuck on the tip of a branch...
Thank you all for the comments on my Trio photos!
@Andy: I am not sure if HDR will improve the image. I am not that familiar with that technique yet. I will have a look how it is done and see what I can do with the photo. Regarding the top of the lamp as I said to Dawn the top of the lamp is...
Hi Dawn!
Thanks for the comments and critique! The settings for the camera were:
ISO: 800
Exposure: 1/30 sec
Aperture: 5.0
Focal Length: 41mm
The picture was taken in complete darkness and I realise that the glow at the first (lowest) ball does not look that good. Unfortunately from...
Week 11 hmm!
I definitely have to make a re-shoot on the "Delicate" theme! My photo for that week wasn't the best I could do. I have few ideas now I just have to go with one of them!
Hey Tina!
Very good photo and I like the texture and colour of the textile you have used. I like the idea of more creative background fold. The only downside for me is that with the current set-up of the BB you have focus on the right side of the image (on the BB). I find it a bit...
Hi Neil!
I like your idea for the Trio theme! Contrary to Tina I like the red light with the whiskey bottles because I think it enhances the alcohol colour. I think that if you crop it a bit higher it will look better. Now the crop is too close to the bottle caps (on the vodka) for my liking...
Hi Martin!
Congrats on your new equipment! The issue with the exposure was already mentioned so I won't do it again! Another issue for me is the position of the Tamron lenses. I feel it will look better if its at the background, i.e. change the position of the two lenses.

Hiya Dawn!
Congrats on your first tog event! The Re-shoot photo is great! I like the PP and the original image too. My only concern is that in the PP you seem to have lost a bit of the sharpness and definition of the original image. But I still love the it and if I haven't seen the original I...
We've got new lava lamp and I made few photos of it. As I checked them out I saw one where only three bubbles were formed and -BINGO. This is my winning shot for this week. But then I decided to play a bit with the colours to make it like a Traffic light. The original colour of the wax is the...
Hiya Patrick!
Another great photo! I love it and how moody it looks. I like the lighting, the vignette and the shadow on the left. As Andy said there is something like a dirt or other powder on the table, I am not keen on that.

Hi Michael!
Your "Finish" photo definitely fits the theme! Congrats on the new kitchen! Bearing in mind you were busy it looks good, but it needs a touch up. The think that bugs me the most watching it is the tilt. If you could just straighten the image it would improve the photo!
The...
Thank you Lynne it was a pleasure to shoot the sunset but it was freezing cold. I decided that if there is a sun it will be warm - big mistake. My hands were just frozen! :D But it was worth it!
Thank you for the comments too Fleur! The combination really works in this photo!

Hi Neil!
I just love your #1 photo! The PP made definitely works with the pub! If this car wasn't there would have been better to imagine it is old photo, but hey great job! If you add a bit of burn effect around the edges might improve the old photo look! But the what you did is great!
Very...
