Hi all On my new D7000 there's a shutter speed that I've not come across before: X250. What is this shutter speed and what's it for? By my testing it just seems to be really really really short... thanks :)

Just got the D7000 yesterday and I'm in love with it :love: I would go on about it plentysome but I'd probably just bore you so I'll leave it at that :wave:

In my opinion they're decent enough at protecting the lens but they don't actually help the picture quality anyhow.

What about the 40mm macro? Is that one any good?

Having owned the 1100D I can say that it is a very nice little camera, great for people new to photography. It doesn't feel as good as the d3100 but it's certainly quite robust. It gives nice picture quality but lacks in dynamic range as AchimT said. Also, the macro on the kit lens I've found...
