I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 but don't know how to use it to get rid of the shadow and leave a plain background. Can anyone advise me please? I know the photo is not brilliant as it was taken on a cell phone.

Insects are a challenge to somebody like me trying to get to grips with macro. I prefer my water at about 1/25. Gives me a sporting chance of hand held without camera shake too.

This takes me back many years when I used to develop my own films. I used to love watching the picture slowly appear in the dish, something you couldn't see with colour developing.

Between Liz & I we have 100-400L, 70-200L, canon 75-300 IS, Tamron55-200, Canon 100mm macro,two kit lenses and the two 50mm lenses. 2 tripods but only the onboard flashes. (Flashgun still on the list of things to get). Could hire a lens if needed.
