She is obviously very talented and these are incredible. I understand entirely why people appreciate her work. However, 10/10 for copying, 0/10 for creativity. If the photo has already been taken, I just don't see the point in wasting hours away copying it.

You can never have too much money as far as I'm concerned, anything opposite to that view is just too bizarre an opinion for me to understand. If your life is ruined by having too much money, I'd say it's more likely that your money levels far out weighed your levels of common sense and...

Football commentators who say: "That was a bad miss". No it wasn't!!! A bad miss would have been a goal. A miss that goes near the corner flag is a bloody good miss in my book, not a bad one.

It's simple, the item wasn't as described. Also the goods weren't fit for the purpose for which they were being sold, ie shooting at 70mm. No brainer for me, the buyer is covered.

Echoed 100%. I have tried to remove myself from all the "Post 1 pic, leave 3 comments" groups that I mistakenly joined when I first signed up. IMO photographs should only be commented on when it's worth it, not for a "you scratch my back" type of shenanigans. I have never once been told...

I have some software on my PC (Vista) that allows me to view RAW files exactly the same way as I view JPEGS. They still appear as thumbnails and open up in Windows Picture Viewer as normal.

Agreed. If anything, I've noticed people being over generous with their praise for pictures that maybe don't deserve such accolades for fear of causing offence. Either that, or my appreciatation is crap. Which to be fair, is quite a high possibility.

My pictures are nowhere near as good as others on here. In fact, not even the same sport, let alone the same league. However, it's not a competition. To give up doing something I love doing simply because I'm not as good as others is a ludicrous thought. My hobby is about me, not other...

I can only echo what Rick said, that aeration simply isn't enough and is quite possibly the reason behind the jump. Looks like a good air pump is needed.

I suspect that no bacteria has caused this fungus, just physical damage. Saprolegnia is opportunistic and will find a wound caused by parasites, bacteria or physical damage caused by jumping out or sharp objects in the pond. On this occasion, I suspect the physical damage created the site...
