still totally confussed, the 170-500mm is only £300 on ebay so well in my budget and sigma are good but i just need to be sure that it will zoom enough... my jessops has no stock so i cant even test lenses to make sure i am getting the right one... 400mm is better zoom that 300mm but costs...
