    Agree with Attenborough (gravel pits) and Wollaton Hall both are good locations for wildlife, Wollaton Hall also has a lake which has a (45min) walk all the way around.. as already pointed the Hall also contains a deer park. (some great shots to be had there) Of the two I would plump for...
