Ok cool, so i need a filter for a particular lens. Now, when looking for flashes, what "qualities" should I be looking for? If u get my meaning? Power? Wattage? etc etc

I want to get an external flash for my 350d, basically I dont know where to start. Also are there specific sizes of filters for specific cams?

How do u find the 10-22?

Hi all, Ive just been doing some playing with my camera and started wondering how many snappers out there let their cam do the work for them (or most of) and how many peeps do the lot themselves?? Just curious thats all;)

Ive been pondering and contemplating over which lens to get to replace my kit lens (18-55mm) as a general decent walk around lens. Ive narrowed it down to 3: Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 Canon 24-105mm f/4.0 Canon 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6. Ive got a 350d and the kit lens just aint cutting it! Opinions...

Good point! I am hoping that things will become a lot clearer as time goes on, but hopefully u can appreciate its all a bit overwhelming at the moment (although VERY exciting). For buildings/architecture, what would be a good starting lens? Would the 28-135 f3.5-5.6 give good results?

Cheers mr. With regards to funds, depends how quickly I'd be buying more lenses really lol. I'd rather not go about £4-500 per lens at the moment. Then when I know what Im doing then I'll stretch to more. One question tho, when u see lenses with max FD of say, 200mm, how "far" can that...
