Get the 16mm-80mm f2.8-f4. = 24mm-120mm f2.8-f4. It's a great lens.

Lots of photographers I know have stopped using the big cameras and just use there phones,macro,zoom,in camera processing and you can make a telephone call and look at the internet.Fits in the inside pocket.

That was not how the lens was designed to be used. The F stop is set with the click ring for the correct exposure say f8, the other ring without any click stops is then used to open the lens to F2 so that the photographer can focus the lens as it would be too dark at f8. The ring is then spun...

No. you have not put a film in the camera and left the back open and wound it on to see what happens.

If the film was not advancing you would have one big black frame, the last one before the camera stopped advancing. Have you checked the shutter is opening and the diaphram is operating properly?

There is a need for a hign MP crop sensor for bird and wildlife photogrpahy. Some manufacturers undrestand this, Nikon used to, 10 yrs ago they had 24mp crop sensor cameras. Nikon are a mile behined in the crop sensor range now. The D500 is a great camera, we need a Z version that is up to date...

To me Nikon are getting this all wrong. Baby this and baby that MK1, 2 and 3. Where is the 32MP crop sensor Z camera. ?
