Yeah maybe. So I'd be looking at a 35mm equivilant focal range of 24-136mm or 27-112mm. Hmmmmmmm.

That's a very fair point. I hadn't considered the difference in focal range. It's not for any specific type of photography. It will be an all rounder lens. Any specific types of photography I know I would be buying lens specifically for.

Hi. I'm back! I'm making a return to photography after a 5 year or so break. I'm looking at buying a Canon 80D with a Canon 24-105mm F4 (Not the mkII). Is this a reasonable combo? and does the non-mkII version allow all of the functionality of the 80D regarding stills and video?

I used to have a Nikon, but then upgraded to a proper camera :p I had the 70-300mm VR lens and loved it. Nice shot BTW. :thumbs:

Yeah I still have the 50D, would love something a little better. Limited budget though. May just have to wait a little? Which lens would you recommend. My budget definitely won't go to L glass.

The Raynox filters look good! Do you think they would work okay with my current lens? If I were to just bite the bullet and buy a dedicated Macro lens, which would you recommend? Nice images Andy! :thumbs:

Hi, I currently have a Canon 18-135mm on a 50D. I want to start getting closer to whatever subject I'm shooting. Do I go for extension tubes or a cheap Macro lens? Thanks
