    Adding a Copyright name

    Monopods

    I just got a monopod free with a new camera bag. It is a manfrotto 790. I've only ever used a tripod before....does anybody have any hints and tips for using a monopod? The actually monopod itself comes with only safety instructions, no tips on using it. Any help much appreciated, L

    How exciting..... My new camera bag has just arrived...a Kata 465 with free Manfrotto Monopod!! This is going to be such a great bag for going on holiday because it looks nice and girlie to, being pink and white. Inside it just heaven....a place for everything camera wise and lots of space...

    Hoya Pro 1 Polariser plus step-up ring OR Hoya Green series polariser for each lens??

    Okay, here's the deal, I've very little money to spend and I've got 2 lenses requiring Polarising filters. One is a 58mm and the other a 62mm. I've read that Hoya Pro 1 polarisers are the best but I can't afford to buy one for each lens. What I need to decide is whether to buy a 62mm one...

    step down ring.....anybody?

    Thanks guys, So I've been getting confused between a step up and a step down ring. So If I get a 62mm filter and a step up ring then it will also fit my 58mm lens....great!! Has anybody had any problems with doing that or forsee any problems with it?

    My understanding of it was that it was the other way...here's the one I've seen on WHE... "Kood 62-58 Step down ring £7.99 A step down ring to allow the use of 58mm filters on a lens with a 62mm filter thread." HELP!!!!

    Nice to see you joining in on the chat fiance!! I've just been looking at Hoya polarising filters. I know Hoya Pro1 polarisers have been mentioned as the best, but just wondering if there is a huge difference between these and the green series ones....apart from the price that is!! L
