Yeah, kind of does. Sometimes you'll be on a job off somewhere random and and you're own and need to transport things from parking to location so need as many hands free as possible, so a backpack works better for this. It's annoying.

Pretty easy to do from memory. Four wee screws, and the foot comes off, and then there a little connector that need unplugging and you're done.
