mmm.. very convinced about the 55-250 now as theres been a good reply supporting them. Now the restrictions are put in place i cant go in the classifieds for a while untill i get a 100 posts.. lol Whats this about renting? never hear about that before.

so this 50mm means that it doesnt zoom? Does my 18 - 55 not cover me in that or is this a different thing all together?

There will be a lot of people about so im thinking the longer lens will be a better buy for me.. also will use it when i go to car shows for the live action bit. Have taken pics before and i couldnt help thinking when looking at them that i wish i had of been closer or had a longer lens.

mmm.. nice one.. I was also looking on the bay there and some of the lenses came with a hood.. whats the purpose of a hood? Would i need to look for one?

Well i got my 400 d and ive started to take some pictures with it..I took about 500 pics there over 2 weekends and tried to pic out some of the best ones. here's some attempts ..lol

Well i've purchased a 400D and should be with me early next week so hopefully ill get taking some pictures with it next week sometime and let you's tell me where im going wrong..lol
