I will definitely start having a go at wiring myself, first at home as you mentioned and then maybe Borehamwood games in the first or second half.
I think thats a good idea for next season Rob, to shoot League 1 or 2 when borehamwood are playing away. Thank you Rob, i appreciate your response.
Having thought about whats been said here and how i feel about it, I have got back too the agency and said that I will continue to shoot Borehamwood and the paper with consistant payment till the end of the season as I don't want to burn bridges, whilst practising sending out images to myself to...
I am by no means offended, i am just very gratefull that there is people on here that will help out people like me in my situation.
There is a lot too think about and consider. I am definitely sticking with Borehamwood and the Paper this season and posibly next as well. i was seriosly...
They say that is for the first year and then it goes too 60/40 in the photographers favour, I guess they are doing this as they are starting up but still if you say standard is 70/30 then their taking the micky really.
The agency in question here doesn't have any contracts, they only pay you if you get photos published and even if you do its a 50/50 payment basis, which is why I didn't want to dive in straight away and so asked you guys on here and I am very glad I did.
The paper is the Borehamwood Times so i'm not too sure if it will be. If I contact DataCo I presume they will tell me if the paper is regional or sufficient for me to apply for the License?
This has given me a bit to think about. I really appreciate everyone helping me out and giving me some guidance.
I have said to the agency that I will be sticking with Borehamwood till the end of the season at least. I am going to try my hand at sending photos during the game to see what it...
I have been given the opportunity to join a Sports picture agency who are just starting out. They have got accreditation for the Football League so if I join I will be shooting games throughout the leagues. As with all agencies they need you to send photos throughout the game from the pitch.
I...
I will only be using it on my own car so sounds like its worth a try for £9.99 and see what happens. Thanks for the info Sammy and hopefully soon i'll have some results to show.
I haven't really looked into going to the TDF as of yet, only really the Tour Of Britain and I was asking for any detailed maps of the Tour Of Britain, should have made that more clearer but thanks for the links i'll go ahead and check them out.
Glad the weather was good for you. What Camera were you using?
I've not had any experience with Tamron lenses so I cant help you there, although the more experience with your camera and lens the better.
Seems like the weather didn't dampen anyone's spirits and sounds like you had a good day...
Hi Simon,
Thanks for the info, I had that thought in the back of my head and I'll probably choose a location and settle down for the day as you said.
Do you know if there is a detailed map of the route that gets published nearer the event?
Got my first ever car last weekend after passing my test in march:D
All i need to do now is get all the bits together for the rig.
One Question: Do the suction clamps from B&Q (the clamps mentioned in the first post) leave any marks on the paint work at all?
