I don't believe I've seen anyone mention this and until I moved to LR4, I hadn't noticed it either but is anyone else having issues with LR underexposing RAW images? On the LCD they look well exposed, on my iPad they look well exposed but import to LR and they consistently need a +0.9 or +1.9...

I much prefer the bokeh from my 50 and from what I've seen the bokeh on the 85 is even better but I often don't have the space to use anything narrower than the 35!

I've got a 35 and 50. I too find the 50 too long so find myself always using the 35.

No they don't. I was using 1 SD card and one mini SD card in an adapter bother different sizes and didn't have a problem. I recently bought a 35 1.8 and love it. I find my 30 year old 50 1.8 to not quite have enough field of view (and it's manual focus which is bloody annoying :lol: )...

While this may be true for bodies, I reserved and collected a Metz flash today and it was the only one they had. All went through swimmingly and received my text to tell me that it was ready within 5 minutes of placing the reservation.

They're probably only putting the price up so that they can cut it back to what it was yesterday in the sale. Definitely worth waiting now.

I was going to upgrade tonight so I'd also be interested if anyone else has had problems! Think I'll hold off now.

A possibly silly question, but do you set up all this exif data in camera, or is there a way of setting it up to automatically be put in in Lightroom?

If the D80 is roughly the same price and has a built in motor that would be my choice. It'll save you money in the mid term as you'll be able to make full use of the old AI lenses which can often be quite cheap. I've just leaped from a D40x to a D7000, and it really was a leap, but the D40x is...
