I used Video Pad for many years before switching over to Resolve. Iif i'm just wanting a simple edit I still use it as its quicker than Resolve for a basic edit. At £60 for the home version (only has 2 soundtracks) its a nice cheap one off cost. Video Pad

Yes I did. Resolve probably the best editing software out there. And the free version will do everything you could ever want.
