Eilean Donan Castle is always worth a stop ( Weather Depending ), and if you have a spare couple of hours head up to Applecross before heading across to skye. I am heading up next month for a couple of nights , looking forward to seeing your results.
Whoops !! apologies i mis read that as star trails !!:bonk: Think you would need a bit more reach ! Once again there will threads on this topic if you put it in the search function.
Hi Robert , use the search function , there are lots of tutorials on star trails. Im sure your lens will be fine though , a tripod is a must as well as a shutter cable or remote . Good luck
Ibiza Town is an interesting old place lots of oportunities there , especially the old fort areas , most of the coastline of the beaten track is stunning , i would hire a car and explore . I would not bother going anywhere near San Antonio.
I have used the 18-135 and the 18-105 , the 105 performs so much better in my opinion and gives a sharper shot , think the VR makes all the difference.
I got a 67mm B+W 10 stop from fotosence , arrived in 3 days , more than happy with there service  , and im seriously happy with my 10 stop !!
Obviously the 77mm is more popular , i would contact them and see how long the wait would be.
