Calling All Pentax & Samsung Users!!!!!!!

Well I can feel safe to say after a proper day shooting with the K-7 now, its a major stepup from the K100D in everyway (no real surprise there!) My concerns over high ISO not being an improvement were a none issue, deffo getting better results. Taking a bit of getting used to the migration...

Calling All Pentax & Samsung Users!!!!!!!

I decided I wanted the high end body with the more control and weather sealing, plus I became rather adicted to the top level lcd that my K100D has and wanted to continue with one. I imagine from a shooting point of view they are roughly identical though, goign by the specs, but I have not...

If anyone has been considering a move to the K-7 then Dixons have a very decent price going right now. £560 for body and 18-55wr lens. I ordered one on Thursday, so should receive this week :)

Is ISO 100/200 really the Holy Grail?

I guess it really does come down to the subject mater and what is intended with the image when finished. I had to shoot in a lowly lit room last where flash was banned and was really forced upto iso3200. Was rather fearful how these images would turn out, on the small preview screen they...

    Wedding Advice

I recently did a wedding shoot that was all in doors with some very moddest equipment, be it a K100D, Tamron 18-250 plus a flashgun which, while admitting there were some issues with slowness with the lens at the long ranges during the ceramony (since flash was banned) the combination generally...

Calling All Pentax & Samsung Users!!!!!!!

From what I know of the NX range, they have their own mount called NX Mount which is not compatable with M4/3rd. ALthough I think there maybe adaptors to use M4/3 or K mount. But thing is with the NX range, they use APS-C sensors and not micro sensors so an m4/3 lens probably wouldnt work...

Thought I would mention as an other option. Park Cameras have the Pentax K-x at a reduced price until 2pm today going for £300 including kit 18-55. Worth considering due to its spec of the camera

Calling All Pentax & Samsung Users!!!!!!!

Hi Rob Yeah Samsung decided it wanted to go the Mirrorless route so the GX20 was the last of the partnership cameras, and interestingly they seem to be a bit dearer used then the k20d when checked with SRS. On a sidenote, still waiting on my 35mm, Park said it was shipped yesterday. This...

Calling All Pentax & Samsung Users!!!!!!!

I called them yesterday afternoon and the girl I talked with found some oddness going on, first it was checking with citylink and finding no delivery being listed, then checking the order note where they had the postcode wrong (for an area that doesnt exist) and then a backlog of orders at their...
