When I researched the nikon/canon dslr I couldn't decide. Eventually got my hands on both together and the nikon fitted my hand better. I think the rivalry is a lack of confidence in their choice. I wonder if nikon deliberately designed the D80 for people with sausages where their fingers...

I thought 'wild' meant not being fed by humans. Didn't you just wish the black leopard had gone for it!! That would have been a 'wild' photo
