First photos posted in a long while. I bought myself a Nikon to Fuji adapter so I could use my old lenses with my XT10. Considering this is my first go at "wildlife" (*if you can call the deer in Richmond Park wild!), and probably first time using MF, I thought I did ok to get a few keepers...

So I would be able to use the aperture ring on the 50mm, but if the Sigma hasn't got one (I'm sure some pics show it has) I'd use the adapter? Both if them will probably stay wide open to be honest, so maybe it's not worth the extra money..

Thanks for the info. I'm in one of those "gotta buy it now" but I'm house sitting for friends and hence can't actually remember if the two lenses I want to use it with have aperture rings. Having never used adapters before I'm guessing that buying one with an aperture ring is wasted on me if the...

I'm not sure that's necessary as I have the 50mm D and Sigma 70-300 APO DG?

Hey all, does anyone have any recommendations of a Nikon F to Fuji X adapter? One of the cheapo jobbies? I figure for £15 odd on Amazon it's worth trying with my old 50/f1.8 and Sigma 70-300 before I sell my Nikon D50 gear. Thanks.

Seen as we're talking straps I'll shout out for Dead Cameras. I have the regular wrist strap on my XT10 and it's great. Very classy-looking.

Well they were shooting JW2 in the UK recently :o:p Thanks. I don't mind noise/grain at all. Probably comes from my (motion picture) film background, I was well used to seeing 16mm and 35mm straight out of the cameras. I was playing with the auto ISO settings on my XT10 last night and getting...

Sorry I had copied/pasted that text. Looked ok to me but I think I removed formatting now. Is that for general usage, do you have any other profiles -- maybe for darker scenes?

I was wondering what auto ISO settings do you all use? If you do use it? The first trip I took with my XT10 I was setting my minimum shutter speed to 1/60 -- I was only using the 35/f2 and 14/f2.8 so my theory was that followed the rule of 1/focal length for safety. However a few of my shots...

I'm not normally one to jump on deals (especially when they're £100s :p) but I've hit the button and one is on it's way :D Peter, all the best to you sir.

Still on the subject of 12mm versus 14mm sorry :D Is £509 a fair price for the 14mm/f2.8 refurbished direct from Fuji?
