    Peli cases

They come empty as standard, you can then have the optional pick n pluck foam or the padded dividers - an expensive option but very good. The 1510 is the goto case, it's the smallest wheelable one. and plenty of space for everything you need and much more beside. It's pretty much the...

    GoPro Alternative?

I'd second the Contour ROAM 2, great cameras for the money and far better than most of the 'unbranded' alternatives. Contour are currently the No2 action camera manufacturer behind GoPro in terms of size and probably product although the latter varies on opinion.

Wedding Togs - What size memory card....

I tend to go in circles with the whole back up and card size thing. It's a fine balance between too many images on one card in case of an error, ensuring a card is safe when it's out of the camera / the convenience of larger cards. Personally I prefer a medium sized card and replace more often...

    Eos 6d Owners Thread!

Hey, just thought I'd check in. Just got a shiny new 6D along with some lenses. I've actually switched from Nikon! Having been a Nikon user for years it was a difficult decision to make but as I really wanted to go FF the lens issue wasn't really too bad for me as most of my Nikon lenses were...

    GorillaPod SLR Zoom

I bought the above recently whilst in the USA. It's proved itself absolutely brilliant and it's really nice and easy to stick in the bag all the time. However, I'd like to get the ball head for it to add more flexibility and the quick release - screwing it in every time is a little tedious...

    Happy Aperture 3 users?

Got it on 2 machines now and loving it. Before the update it had memory leaks all over the place but all seems to be sorted now. Some great improvements on v2. Only problem I have is the importing of images is different than v2 when selecting only some images. Just bugging being different -...

    Photographing city at night (Vegas)

I'm going there in March so interested in opinions. Don't think I'll be taking a tripod but intend getting a gorrilapod whilst we're out there. Starting in LA so hopefully will be able to pick one up there. I'm going to be taking (Nikon) Sigma 10-20mm Nikon 18-200VR (walkaround) 50mm f1.8...

    Nikon D70 memory cards

I've got a couple of 512mb and a couple of 1gb. They seemed quite big when I got them. Although they do seem to have errors occasionally now and corrupt photos. Do CF cards degrade or is this likely to be a camera problem?

    Lens Recommendation Help

Not sure if this helps at all but I went the D90 route this year after upgrading from a d70. My current lenses include an 18-200mm VR as my main walk around / travelling lens. My newest purchase - Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6 as a landscape lens - loving this so far. Nikon 50mm f1.8 - can't go wrong...

New lens for a newbie member

I've just got a Sigma 10-20mm for my D90 and it's superb. Went for the f4-5.6 in the end as after much thought the extra price for the 3.5 didn't really justify it for me. It's all down to what you are planning on shooting with it, for me it's a landscape lens for a current trip planned so the...

    One Stop Digital - Experiences??

Looks like it's moving again and One stop have confirmed that they will repay any vat and duty incurred so it's still beneficial. Hopefully should have it in the next couple of days then I'm assuming I'll find out how much the extra charge is. Excellent communications from One Stop and their VAT...

    One Stop Digital - Experiences??

Just been on the phone to FedEx. Customs got the lens etc and wanting import and VAT paid. It was listed as Package available for Clearance for 2 days so thought I better get in touch! It's listed as repair but customs won't believe it without supporting paperwork. Looks like i'll be paying the...
