Canon 7D Mk 2 - buttons on back not working and not focussing

UPDATE Well I revised up on several Acts just in case I was met with a battle. Interestingly found a European Directive along the way which indicated buyers have a right to free repairs via the retailer on most electrical items under 6 years old. 6 being deemed a reasonable life expectancy...

Thanks D, yes I will have that up my sleeve. Used to work in procurement so fortunately had a bit of insight in to that.

Canon 7D Mk 2 - buttons on back not working and not focussing

Hi there peeps, have a feeling this is going to end up in the Canon service centre but just want to get your thoughts first and see if anyone else has had similar. Part way through shooting hockey on Saturday with a 70-200, 2.8, I couldn't tweak settings via the 'Q' (as I had been doing...

Small chinese symbol in the small of my back (it knackered) meaning 'good fortune'. Waved a lottery ticket over it the week I had it done and won..... a tenner!!

    Krakow Anyone Been

 I love Krakow! Been to a lot of European cities and it is in my top 3. It's a clean and compact city, so very walkable. My favourite spots are the Jewish Quarter (there happened to be a walking music festival there when we walked through it), the Main square (especially at night when...

3 day Eventing @ Bramham - anyone been or going this weekend?

Oops... should have posted the site plan if that's any help for suggesting vantage points. http://www.bramham-horse.co.uk/images/uploaded-files/docs/Combined%20Course%20Map%20-%20FINAL.pdf Sounds like it's gonna be cloudy and wet so no point worrying where the sun will be

3 day Eventing @ Bramham - anyone been or going this weekend?

Bit of a spontaneous decision but fancy a crack at a different kind of horsepower and thinking of going to Bramham. Been quite a while since I've done any horse work and as I can only make the Sunday, I'm going to treat it as a practice exercise for another event in August. Timetable here...

    haunted place to stay

Don't think Chingle Hall is open to the public anymore Dave and when it was, it wasn't a hotel experience. Can recommend the Jamaica Inn near Bodmin. Unwittingly stayed at a pub just south of Oban once...... had just booked in off speck having almost come unstuck in a horrendous snow...

What exciting photo trips have you got lined up?

Have had to abandon both trips to Silverstone this year (F1 & MotoGP... gutted) because of other commitments..... so to make up I'm going to have a bash at an alternative form of horsepower.... some Three Day Eventing.... looking at Hartpury or Burghley.

    Moving house ?

You have my full sympathy and support; having gone through this very recently, I share your pain! It's always the solicitors that **** things up and all because they cba to get off their backsides and TALK to one another; they much prefer to hide from a phone and blame each other for their...

    Marco Simoncelli RIP

Tragic, just tragic. I was at Silverstone this year too and off the track my overarching memory is of a cacophony of noise only to turn round and see a bouncing trailor load of Simoncelli fans in wigs singing away as the tractor took them back to the campsite. RIP #58.... ride fast in...
