Have read that the nissin di866 has a few reliability issues. I think most people recommend the canon 580. Maybe the extra cost compared to nissin is worth it in the long run. Any views about the Metz?

I think deep down my heart is set on the 580 because it does tick all the right boxes. Does this flashgun have any serious competition?

Will keep that in mind, don't mind 2nd hand if it's in good condition.
