I used Startrails.de a long time ago on a PC, though you could run it if you use Parallels on a Mac. As I am now a Mac user too, there is probably a better option so I'm also interested in any further suggestions.

I've only ever seen this sort of thing whilst sailing... made particularly special when we got dolphins alongside at the same time. This was on a millpond North Sea somewhere between Sweden and Leith, in June/July. Unfortunately no photos.

Thanks Andy. i didn't know they did different finishes. Shame that the custom sizing doesn't allow anything over 100cm.

Does anyone have any further/more recent experience with Zor? I'm looking for reasonably priced large prints on aluminium, so any other suggestions welcome.

Last time I went I used 16-35, 50mm and 100-400. My 24 f/1.4 came out for northern lights - but you won't be needing that in June :) I would echo the above comments and say to definitely take a decent tripod.

How about north Snowdonia and Anglesey? Cuts driving between areas down and offers a variety of scenery.

In recent years I've only really been picking my camera up once a year for our holiday (US/Canada or Iceland). Then it's barely put down as landscape photography is always the focus of the trip.

I'm interested in exactly how the tapered design works to improve grip on the filters. I'm currently using the "old" Lee holder with a mixture of Kase, Nisi and Haida filters. I've got the Kase rails which fit onto the Lee holder (they grip into the side of the filter instead of the front)...

I’ve been looking into this a little as I would want to be able to use the app with a wide angle lens like an olloclip or similar. Cadrage with a Moment lens looks like it might be a good option, but I’ll need to do some more research I think.

I'd also be interested to hear people's experiences with this. Mark... what are the apps which you have looked into?
