I have a 50mm 1.8 prime just now, really enjoy using it for near enough everything I shoot

Some great difference of opinions here, to be honest I'm still unsure as to what would suit me best, especially with the low light in the clubs. Will need to do a lot more research on this but all your points have been taken on board

Some of the results I get from the 400d in the club are decent, but I know they can be a lot better, I'm just unsure if it's the camera or the lens I need to upgrade

I've been looking at the 7d, was told by a work mate to go for the 5d mk1 which is why I started the thread about differences on the FF. I like the look of the 7d very much

The rum is...always gone At the moment i am the resident photographer in a local nightclub so low light photography is there I have been offered a stand in job for a wedding photography company and i feel the 400D isnt a match for this, i might be wrong on that I like to shoot anything...
