What software do you use as a HTPC? I use boxee which I find very good.

i got a intel mac mini to use as an HTPC a few weeks back off ebay. brought it for just under £200 and brought some extra ram for like £10. Its surprisingly quick considering.

it really depends where you are. silverstones really a 300mm track but saying that, ive used a 1.6 crop with a 70-200 before and the results have been good.

yes, you can only read only with that format, FAT32 you can read and write on both mac and pc but your limited with a 4gb or under transfer. Mac does have its own system thats like NTFS, but windows cant read it. What you could do is to partition some of your hard drive to FAT32 so you can...

A3 sized one but dont buy the cheap ones. also try and get a box and put good quality plastic sleeves in so people can take each one out of the box and spread them out on a table or something.

I'd get the 24-105, you've got nice extra reach and IS. I have never really missed or wanted to go down to f2.8 when using the 24-105. But, if you think you might be in a situation where you need extra light, why not buy the 24-105mm and a 50 1.8. It would still be cheaper than getting a...
