    Well I have been using the 17-40 for years on cropped sensor cameras.... and never had any issues with mine.... I don't find it limiting at all... and it compliments my 70-200F4 IS perfectly....

    no no no..... a nice shellac polish... applied by hand with a rubber (pad) would be so much better..... the finish would be so much more superior :thumbs:

    Is the 400D a good starter camera?

    Like most of the above I started with a 400D... still have it as a back to a 7D now.... it was (is) a great starting point :) hope you can get one soon and start playing Tinytog :thumbs:
