It's using the AD360ii and just a pair of Yongnuo 622Cs. I did the same, ordered it without the Godox trigger to try and it seems to work for me so far.
Following the reports Garry has heard I've just tested some higher shutter speeds upto 1/4000 and the Yongnuo seems to be holding up. Otherwise I would have been ordering a X1-CT now.
It was my confusion about triggering the lights that made me ask the question. I understand your position Steve. I was advised by the guys on here to get the Godox trigger for guaranteed full control, I have opted to try the yongnuo with the option of getting the X1-CT if the 622s don't offer...
I've tested the flash with my yongnuo 622 transceivers and they seem to work for both hss and power control. In theory it means I could use it alongside my Canon speedlights on different channels. What triggers do you use with your speedlight @Steve-T?
I would be keeping the 622s as I have a full set which I'm happy using.
I've been using Yongnuo for quite a few years so I'm hesitant to move to another system but the 360s and 600s do seem very versatile. I don't know anything about the 850s & 860s.
