its fantastic, studio, landscape...anything, ISO is far better than a lot of people realise, the grain is natural looking and it keep huge amounts of detail thanks to the 24.5mpx its a serious beast.....get 1!:love:

im fully aware of the differences :thumbs:, im just trying to make the point about the incredible data loss i seem to be getting on some saves in photoshop cs4, i assume it is a bug or something. i will contact adobe about it cheers

ok cheers, i have tht but never really use it, may be a good idea to save in photoshop as a TIFF then save the TIFF to JPEG in NX2?

i actually have bought and do buy all of my kit from them. i dont live far from the shop, they do treat people like royalty. the staff are fantastic and i am actually friends with a few of them. brilliant shop, good prices too

i use a nikon, but im sure it translates to canon anyway. i had a 50 1.8...then i got my 24-70 and never used the 1.8 again. i sold it as i now dont need it. low light capability will be excellent with 5d anyway with the 24-70. poss best to see how you get on with the 50mm as its cheaper...
