I have the a700 and wouldnt change it for anything (except maybe the a900 :) ) Checked through all the different types, but decided on the 700 as the best for me. It all depends on what you want.

Did you ring/write to the admissions tutor and tell them that it was down to the teacher that you missed the deadline? If you explkain to them not only about missing the deadline, but also about what you hope to do for the enforced year out, they will realise you are serious about your chosen...

Wow those are amazing - and just the kind of thing I'd like to be taking myself. Anyone used the sony version? How did you find that one? I might have the chance of a used sony, which would cost less than a new one; just need to compare the two really.

Have been looking to get a macro lens for my sony. Does anyone have any views on the sony 100mm macro, or the sigma 105mm? Or should I be looking at the 50mm? Thanks for any comments.

The best place to hide something is out in the open! The police might be less inclined to think someone is a terrorist if they are taking photos openly, therefore simple answer - ban all photo taking.

If it's a 'pull out' then it should be in the centre of the magazine, stapled to the rest of the mag, like a centre section. Will look when I go into town shortly.
