I've always found Jessops staff to be pretty helpful, and most of them are clued up. You can tell if they widen their eyes and smile or make a comment when you ask for something nice!
A few years ago I did ask a girl there if they had a grip for a 400D, she replied "is that Canon or Nikon?". So...
I'm building my new site through Showit, I'm paying for it but you can get a five page site for free. It's drag and drop So unbelievably easy to build but it's flash. Wordpress is probably your best bet.
As a "newbie" wedding photographer (first one in 2 weeks time) I have to say I've had nothing but support from other photographers (on other forums and in real life, I'm not sure I've started a thread about it here). Probably because they see I know my camera inside out, have the necessary gear...
I'd go custom white balance for tungsten-heavy environments and auto for everything else. Just gives cleaner shots all round in my experience. That's my plan for my first wedding in a couple of weeks anyway :)
