I sometimes think my OH thinks the same about me. She bought me a 600D for my birthday and I'll often spend ages taking pictures instead of walking around with her. She doesn't seem to mind too much though

Those night sky shots at 01:44 are amazing, wish the skies were dark enough here to do that

I like my fifty as I don't have any other lens like it, but given the choice (and extra money) I'd probably go for a 35mm on my 600D. Chris-red's just made the same transition to 35mm, he could give you a decent opinion on it if he's had a chance to play with it yet

Same as fruitflakes although I usually go for Gaussian blur rather than lens blur
